Established in 1995 in memory of Pierre Ayot, artist and founder of Atelier Graff, this $5,000 prize is awarded every two years to a Quebec artist in any discipline who is in mid-career and who has distinguished himself or herself by the quality of his or her work. It comes with an invitation to create a print with the assistance of a master printmaker.The winner is chosen by a jury of artists and representatives of the cultural community.
