Colette Fu makes one-of-a-kind collapsible artist’s books that combine photography with pop-up paper engineering. Her pop-up books express her vison of society today. They inform, delight and blur the boundaries between book, installation, photography, craft and sculpture. The presentation will be held in English at Atelier Graff on Thursday, April 12 at 6pm (free admission).

Colette Fu will be in residency at Atelier Graff from April 10 to 22, 2012. Based in Philadelphia, She received her MFA in Fine Art Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2003. She created most of her work during artist residencies and received many awards. Colette Fu has worked as a paper engineering consultant for stop animation commercials, freelances and teaches pop-up courses and community workshops at various art centers and institutions internationally.
