For the 2012 edition of Journées de la culture, Atelier Graff invites the public to participate in Circulation, a project featuring print-based artistic interventions located aroung its Plateau-Mont-Royal neighborhood on Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30 (1pm to 5pm).

Conceived and curated by two members of Atelier Graff, Andréanne Bouchard and Geneviève Turcotte, Circulation is a project that aims to create a synergetic exchange between the printmaking studio, the artists and the surrounding community. On this special occasion, the artist-run centre will open its doors to the public and host a group workshop. A team of professionals (such as Arthur Desmarteaux) will be on-site, helping participants of all ages to create “artworks to go” in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere. Four more free activities will take place near Atelier Graff (963, Rachel East):

- The bridge and the river (1)
In La Fontaine park, Geneviève Turcotte invites you to become a player in a life-sized board game. Come and experience it for yourself!

- On the road (2)
Andréanne Bouchard cruises through the neighborhood on her bicycle, converted into a mobile silkscreen workshop. Discover what sweet printmaking treats she has to offer!

- The bewitching of senses (3)
Take part in a ritual with Guillaume Brisson-Darveau and Pascaline Knight, during which they will engage in various mystical experiences in the alley located directly behind Atelier Graff.

- The troop of good old times (4)
Anna Jane McIntyre invites you to collaborate with her in printing a fabric love letter to Montreal in De La Bolduc park. A great way to celebate our city!

Update for Sunday, September 30
- Atelier Graff’s doors are still open : screen printing, snacks and heat await you.
- "On the road" joins "The troop of good old times" (tent at De La Bolduc park).
- The weather unfortunately makes it impossible for "The bridge and the river" (La Fontaine park) and "The bewitching of senses" (alley behind Atelier Graff) to happen today.
